Baratza Sette 270WI - Conical Burrs, Electronic dosing by Weight Espresso Coffee Grinder

The 'W' in its 270WI name stands for Weight - the first coffee grinder of its kind to grind coffee beans by Weight  directly into your Espresso Machine Portafilter handle. The I stands for intelligence - the grinder calculates and predicts the stop point when you change your grind setting or dose weight. The new 270Wi uses Acaia high precision scale and include 30 steps of macro-adjustment and additional stepless micro-adjustment system for almost infinite grind settings for high precision grinding for espresso.  A new "quick burst" feature allows you to add small increments of coffee to your final dose after the grinder has stopped. Software updates can be installed wirelessly via the integrated Bluetooth, using an Apple phone or tablet.

A newly envisioned burr orientation, drops the perfectly ground coffee directly into your target of choice such as into a portafilter handle, grounds coffee container (included), your preferred pour over receptacle or Aeropress brew chamber. By directly we mean "directly", the ground coffee is dispensed directly from between the burrs straight down without passing through chute or tunnels like conventional grinder design, hence preventing any ground coffee retention, the lowest retention in the industry, if any.

This orientation allows the Sette 270W to provide ground coffee efficiently, with less static, and eliminates leftover grounds which typically get abandoned in the grinder waiting to mess with your next shot. Also included is an easy to use shutoff feature on the bean hopper allowing for a quick and clean exchange of beans when required.
