Unlike the Rancilio Rocky Doserless coffee grinder that grinds the coffee beans directly to your espresso machine portafilter handle, this model has a Dosing Chamber equipped with 6 chambers in a star configuration. Inside there are dividers that when necessary can be adjusted to the quantity of ground coffee you wish to have in each chamber. Once enough ground coffee fill all the chambers, with every pull of the handle, you get the same amount of coffee each time with one click. The doser model is recommended for those who consume more than 6 cups in average per day because over night the ground coffee in the dosing chamber may lose its freshness. However, if you do consume 6 cups a day, you need to grind the desired 6 portions only once and then you can have the next cups without the need of turning on the grinder. Quicker and quieter solution for home or even small business or office.
The Rancilio Rocky Coffee Grinder has 55 Grind settings so it can grinds coarse for French press to very fine for commercial grade espresso machines. It's easy to adjust, simply release the lever and turn the bean hopper.
50mm commercial grade flat burrs provide even grind, quiet operation and precision.
