Reg Barber barista tamper is made in Canada from highest density genuine African rosewood with a rich reddish tones accentuated by a darker grain. Each tamper is hand sanded and polished for a beautiful natural finish, resilient to different conditions such as humidity or heat.

The Bubinga Rosewood tamper includes an inlayed black crown (delron) on top of the wood handle. It is an original addition by Reg Barber that prevent damage to espresso and coffee equipment when tapping the sides of the porta-filter for even distribution of the coffee grounds. The inlay is flash surfaced with the wooden top and includes Zcafe logo engraving that adds to professional look.

Flat, 58mm Stainless steel base resists rust and corrosion. It is the heaviest metal, most recommended base material, making tamping tasks even easier. This coffee tamper weight is approximately 1 LB and fit most professional portafilter handles of commercial espresso machines and E61 handles. (its recommended to measure the actual diameter of your portafilter baskets before ordering).
