This professioanl barista tamper is made from highest density Rosewood Hardwood. Hand made and polished for a beautiful natural finish, resilient to different conditions such as humidity or heat. 

This heavy duty tamper includes an inlayed metal crown (delron) on top of the wood handle. It is an original addition by Reg Barber that prevent damage to espresso and coffee equipment when tapping the sides of the porta-filter for even distribution of the coffee grounds. The inlay is flash surfaced with the wooden top and adds to professional look.

Flat, 58mm polished Stainless steel base resists rust and corrosion. It is the heaviest metal, most recommended base material, making tamping tasks even easier. This 58mm espresso tamper fit most professional portafilter handles of commercial espresso machines and E61 handles.
